Financial Information
Financial Aid, Student work, W4, and I9.
At Newbury Park Adventist Academy, students benefit from a private Christian high school education at a very affordable rate. Because of our affiliation with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we can charge tuition rates significantly lower than comparable schools in our area. The school board attempts to set the tuition price appropriately to provide the best possible education for our students while keeping within the vision of the Academy.
Families have trusted Newbury Park Adventist Academy as their partner in faith and education since 1948. As a parent, some of the most important decisions you will make are centered around your child’s education.
We realize that choosing a school is about more than academics. It’s about a partnership with a team that shares your values and supports your efforts to help your child succeed. Here at NPAA, we believe that each child is uniquely created and we develop a plan to help our students thrive academically, spiritually, socially, and physically.
Once your student has been accepted, you will be prompted to enroll. Our financial aid application is part of the enrollment process. You will be able to answer the questions and upload your documents directly through FACTS.
All financial aid applications are processed by our Business Office. Parents must complete the application for financial aid and scholarships. NPAA reviews each application (per family) to determine eligibility. The aid awarded does not need to be repaid. It is not a loan. It is a gift.
There are several endowments established to provide scholarships for currently enrolled junior high and high school students. Criteria vary among each of these scholarships. Qualifying factors may include financial need and grade point average. These scholarships are awarded during special events during the school year. They are earned and do not require an application.
Students are encouraged to work on campus as part of their education experience at NPAA. Jobs on campus are available for students in a variety of areas. Students are paid the CA student minimum wage, and all student earnings can be applied to their account. There are also a limited number of jobs available for summer. For more information about the Student Work Program, please contact the Business Office.
NPAA offers a tuition discount of 10% for families with two or more students simultaneously enrolled at NPAA. To be eligible for the discount, the student accounts of all siblings must remain current.
Businesses/employers are often willing to donate towards a student’s account. NPAA Business Match offers up to $500.00 in matching funds based on your business donation received.
There are scholarships available through the Southern California Conference and the Pacific Union Conference. To apply for these, click here.
Some Seventh-day Adventist churches provide tuition assistance to eligible church members. The church assistance application is available at NPAA Business Office or from your church Pastor/Treasurer.
NPAA offers up to $1,000.00 in matching funds based on your church’s contribution.
